1)  Make your PPC Advertising Effective

The most important factor for successful PPC Advertising Campaigns is to stand out of the crowd with your well designed and keyword effective ad. 

Most people stay less than 30 seconds on an average webpage and their eyes just hoover over the content without much interest. So the job of your PPC ad is to catch them within the first seconds after landing on your website. That's the key to make sales! 

Placing a Pay per Click Ad on a Search Engine, you will narrow down the potential visitors to your site by defining your best keywords and bidding for them (the PPC price per click).  

So when people find your ad by putting the relevant search term into the Search Engine and when they click on your link, they get straight to your website and offer. This means, you only get visitors who are actively searching for your prodcut to your site. And you only pay for the visit if they actually click your link.

As a rule, the higher you bid, the higher your ad goes in the list of search results for a certain keyword, and the more people will go to your site. But it can also become expensive quite fast if you bid on too many keywords. Please be very careful! 

Do a litle test first with a strictly limited budget of $ 25 to $ 50. Then check and analyze the result carefully, tweak and modify the ad and try again. Only if you get satisfied, augment your investment. 

A PPC campaign should always pay for itself which means, you need at least one more sale as to cover your expenses.

These ar my recommendations:

  • Get Ten Specific Keywords. .Avoid general words, they are already occupied and crowded. Be specific, eye catching, use also phrases of 2-3 words.Just something special. If these first ten keywords perform well, try to go still more precise and deep by researching again. If there is no or an unsatisfactory result, start again for anothr ten words.
  • Always Write the Truth. Advertise only what you can deliver and live up.to your promise. Your primary goal is to make  a sale for the click you have paid for. 
  • Be succinct and accurate. Avoid "free," "low cost," "extremely effective," or "cheap." Stick to your keyword, wrap it well and include your price. This makes it clear to the prospect and he/she will most probably buy.
  • Limit your Budget. Set up a cash plan and decide how much you are willing to pay for yor campaign. Stick to your decision. Set the exact limits (clicks per day, amount to be spent per day, maximum funds, etc). Go for lower priced keywords and phrases, $ 0.07 to $ 0.15 per click should be the maximum.
  • Avoid Bidding Wars.  Do not engage to bid against other advertisers which might have a lot more funds to spend. Once set up, forget your bids and concentrate on the outcome Invest your time to refine your ad for even better results. 
  • Create the best possible Website ever. Your Site a Professional One. The standard rules of web design apply. Check your web content for spelling and grammatical errors. Update your web content regularly. Fix any broken links and images. Design your website so that it will be easy to navigate and load, so do not use Flash animation, as this will slow down your buyers' browsers. Link your ads to the exact place on your site where your product or service appears.
  • Know When to Stop. PPC ad campaigns can lead more buyers to you, however, please check profit against spending. It makes on sense to spend double the budget just for one or two sales. Better drop the campaign then. 
  • Measure Results.Measure your progress in clicks. A total of 300 clicks is average for any ad. If your ad has reached 300 clicks and you have made no sales yet, then terminate your PPC project. Do not waste your money!

Running your online business means investing time, money, and effort, so keep your PPC up and only running as long as you are making moey. Otherwise please immediately stop your campaign.

2)  Business Key Points

What do I mean with Business Key Points?

Frankly, you need a system to survive!

To work online successfully, you need to have in place a system (a plan) how to work your online business. That means, you need to determine what is essential for growing your business and then how to implement all the steps with the least effort possible. 

These are the main keys:

  • Track and Test, make adjustments
  • Draw a Framework for your Activities
  • Share your Success with others, repeat what works

So once you have your system in place, there are a few tricks and
techniques that can help you get it working. 

Here are just a few:

a) Tracking
Try to track your sales rather than your opt-in rates. It is easy to keep track of opt-in rates as one measurement of success. However,  if you track each sale back to the source, this might tell a different story. So focus on this.

b) Organization
Get organized best possible as you can!. Create a new folder on your desktop. Name it 'Online resources' or something similar. Within that folder, have a collection of sub-folders, one for each type of product, tool or email you receive and want to keep.This will then be your Swipe File from where you get inspiration and ideas. Rename all files with the proper name of their content, so you will know what to look for later.

c) Surveys
Send surveys to your list from time to time. Ask your subscribers what they want you to write about? What kind of products they like and are looking for? How you can serve them even better? And similar questions (just 3-5 per survey). You get the idea....

d) Signatures
Change your email and forum signatures from time to time. Every time you have a new web site, a new affiliate program or even a new own product, promote it with your signature as probably most of your readers have not seen it yet. 

e) Back to Basics
When you hit a certain level and fulfilled your set goals, ask yourself what you did so well when you started growing this campaign or prodcut. Do what works for you again. Refine your tools and advertisements so they even work better this time. Then again start at the beinning but always at a higher (learning) level.     

That's your roadmap to success. Just do what works!
