1)  How to Increase Your Website Traffic

Traffic is king and it is essential that you do just everything possible to get as much traffic as you can. 

A good idea is to put your ad for your own product or a well selected affiliate product on all of your freebies. Then allow your list and any other people to give them away as bonuses for the products they sell themselves. This is sometimes the only way website or product owners will give away third party freebies. 

To make it even more interesting and lucrative, you could also brand your own freebie with their business name and information, then allow them to use it as a bonus with their product.

A good place to look for JV products and partners is at Paydotcom where you are able to contact the product owner and they can also inform you about their new launches. 


2)  Five Ebook Creation Mistakes that Will Hurt Your Business

Today, I want to uncover a few common mistakes you MUST avoid in the  product creation process so you will make more sales and profits right from
the beginning. 

Mistake 1
Not Thinking about your "Back-End" and further customer care!

A back-end sale or promotion can be an OTO (one-time-offer) which your customer will see right after the successful completion of the purchase of the front end product.

There are many other ways you can profit from the buying mood at the back-end by including links to other products inside your eBook or referring to one of your other websites with an audio or video for example.

Here on your Thankyou or Download Page you can also offer some great Bonuses such as another free report, a free Silver Membership, a Video Tutorial, etc. Here is a good example of a Free Silver Membership.

What about offering an upsell with Master Resale or PLR Rights to the EBook or report they just bought? You earn twice again, once from the Upsell itself and second from the affiliate links you have placed inside the MRR part.

Remember: You'll be leaving a lot of money on the table if you don't plan What to offer at your back-end. The customer is already there, so please give him a reason to stop and get strongly interested in your additional offer.

Mistake 2
Using Crappy Old PLR without adapting it!

A lot of marketers just search for free and often old PLR reports or articles which they then mix together and sell as is. 

Totally WRONG!

If you use PLR (private label rights), make sure you rework the content and fix any outdated information. Put in your own text and thoughts or advice. Then check any links to websites or download sites and make sure that they work properly. Do not forget to check picture links too. Nothing is more anoying than lost images! 

You want to be considered as aprofessional, do you?

If your eBook is on a living topic which is constantly being updated like computer technology,  iPhone or Sony PSP, etc., then make sure to update your product as frequent as possible. 

Mistake 3
Not Getting Feedback Before You Start Selling
After you create your first product, you probably think it's perfect. But it's still a good idea to get the opinion of others before you start selling it. Let a friend look at or use your product before you start selling it to the public. Ask for feedback which you then also could use as a testimonial on your sales page. 

Check the Warrior Forum for other interested marketers to let them go over your eBook. Ask for their opinion, a testimonial and also if they want to do a Joint Venture (JV) when you launch it. They might see something that needs improvement and you can spread word through their subscriber lists.

Mistake 4
Writing a Bad Sales Page!
Your website sales letter is your online "salesman". So devote a good part of your time for

the best possible wording and appearance. If it can't draw peoples attention at once and lead them down right to the Payment button, you need to improve the site still. However don't overdue And get it up soonest possible. Make two or three slightly different sites and track which one converts better than the other one. 

Then keep what works best and make some modifications on the others. Skip the worst one and work on the remaining two sites. Even if your product is great, and I'm sure it is, it won't sell if the website is ugly and not flowing naturally, working out the benefits for the prospect, if copy writing is not your strong point, there is a great help. Mistake 5
Not Having an Affiliate Program!

Creating a regular flow of traffic to your sales pitch is a corner stone of your eBook marketing success. You can reach this goal by offering your own affiliate program. If affiliates like your product, they will eagerly promote it for a share of the sales price, i.e. usually between 25 % to 75 %, the higher the commission, the better for them and for you! 

An affiliate program is basically a website system allowing other people to sell your product with a unique tracking (affiliate) link so they can get credited and paid a commission for any sale they refer.

It is not complicated to let affiliates market your product. Just sign up at 
Clickbank and Paydotcom as vendor and upload your eBook there. These programs offer a great market place where every one can find products they want to sell as an affiliate. 

Clickbank even takes over all the handling of tracking and paying your affiliates. Paydotcom offers you also many great features but you must pay your affiliates yourself every month. Both programs are free and take only a small share of your sales price for their administration.
